    Jeffery Concerts - Brett Polegato, baritone and Robert Kortgaard, piano

    One of today’s most sought-after lyric baritones on the international stage, Italian Canadian Brett Polegato has earned the highest praise from audiences and critics for his artistic sensibility. The New York Times praised him for his “burnished, well-focused voice”, which he uses with “considerable intelligence and nuance”. Robert Kortgaard is one of Canada’s most respected chamber pianists and is a favorite collaborator of many of Canada’s finest instrumental soloists, vocalists, and chamber groups.     Jeffery Concerts - Paul Merritt, Organ and Friends

    The Jeffery Concerts - Excited to showcase four exceptional London musicians: Paul Merritt (organ) will be joined by Jennifer Short (oboe), Katerina Juraskova (cello), Richard Frank, (soprano & alto saxophones). They will perform an eclectic mix of music drawn from the Baroque era to the modern day, all involving the organ. The repertoire will include works by J.S. Bach, J.L. Krebs, G. Homilius, Mendelssohn, Josef Rheinberger, William Mathias, Paul Halley, and Denis Bédard.

    Jeffery Concerts - Kevin Chen, piano

    At the age of five, this Canadian prodigy began his piano studies; by age eight Kevin Chen had been named one of CBC’s Top 30 Hot Canadian Classical Musicians under 30 and became the youngest person to earn The Royal Conservatory of Music’s Associate Diploma.  Subsequent awards include: youngest-ever winner of the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition; first prize at the Concours de Genève; and first prize in the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition.
