NEW DIRECTOR OF CULTURE & ENTERTAINMENT TOURISMWe’re excited to share that Sean Murray has taken on the role of Director of Culture & Entertainment Tourism. Sean has been part of the Tourism London team since 2021, first starting as a Marketing Intern, then moving into the position of Culture, Entertainment & Marketing Assistant. With his strong background in tourism and marketing, we are excited to have him lead this dynamic portfolio and look forward to his continued contributions in shaping London’s cultural landscape. SUBMIT YOUR EVENT, EXPERIENCE OR OFFER TO ONTARIO’S SOUTHWESTOntario’s Southwest is looking for submissions from local businesses and organizations in RTO1 (which London is a part of) for their upcoming spring marketing campaign. They are particularly interested in any events happening between March 1 and June 30. Additionally, they welcome submissions of packages, offers, experiences, existing blog articles or videos that fit into their key themes of Family Friendly, Sustainability, Accessibility and Relaxation. The information you provide may be featured in their posts on social media, website content or as part of their paid media campaign running from March 1 to June 30. Don't miss this opportunity to showcase your offerings and reach a wider audience. Submit your information by February 14 to be considered. TOURISM LONDON VISITOR GUIDE ADS AVAILABLE FOR 2025/26Ad placements for the 2025/2026 Tourism London Visitor Guide are now being booked. This guide serves as a vital tool for showcasing London to both local and international audiences, with thousands of printed copies distributed to key locations across Ontario and a large audience directed towards the digital version. If you advertised in the 2024/25 edition, please reconfirm your placement by January 31. After this date, from January 31 to February 14, any remaining ad spaces will be available to all partners on a first-come, first-served basis. On February 5, from 11:00 AM–12:00 PM, join the "Unlocking the Power of Volunteers" webinar, hosted by Ontario's Southwest and supported by Festival & Events Ontario. This session will provide festival organizers with essential tools and strategies to attract, engage and retain volunteers. Delores MacAdam, Manager of Marketing and Communication for the City of Ottawa, will share over 40 years of expertise in event management and marketing, offering valuable insights to strengthen your volunteer programs. TOURISM LONDON IS HIRING: CULTURE, ENTERTAINMENT & MARKETING ASSISTANTTourism London is currently seeking a Culture, Entertainment & Marketing Assistant to join the team. This position provides an opportunity to work closely with the Director of Culture and Entertainment Tourism, contributing to the promotion of London’s cultural offerings through both digital and traditional channels.
