      The Western Fair District is a hub of entertainment, situated on an expansive 85-acre site that has become a landmark in London. Nestled in the city center, it caters to a diverse audience from London and across southwestern Ontario, offering an extensive range of recreational and entertainment options.

      As a not-for-profit agricultural Association deeply rooted in the city's history, the Western Fair District has transformed over the years into a versatile event center, incorporating elements of music, shopping, gaming, and sports. Committed to enriching both individual lives and the community as a whole, the District reinvests its revenue surpluses into continual improvements of its facilities and offerings.

      Comprising various complexes, the Western Fair District hosts popular consumer trade shows, exhibits, a top-notch harness horse racetrack, modern slot operations, dining establishments, as well as meeting and banquet facilities. Additionally, it boasts an industry-leading sports complex that hosts a range of ice events.

      Find your Happy Place at the Western Fair, one of Canada’s oldest community traditions, welcoming EVERYONE for our ten-day extravaganza each September.  Western Fair is packed with hundreds of ways to find your happy place September 6-15, 2024.       The District
      Through its people, facilities and events, Western Fair District (WFD), also referred to as the Western Fair Association (WFA), is a leading year-round agricultural not-for-profit and a dedicated community organization.  Nestled in the city center, The District caters to a diverse audience from London and across southwestern Ontario, offering an extensive range of options. As a leading Canadian agricultural society, The District focuses on nurturing agri-business projects and initiatives at The Grove, educating consumers and supporting producers. Beyond its agricultural objectives, The District is also a vibrant year-round meeting place for local and regionally communities and customers to enjoy consumer events, trade shows, entertainment & recreation for residents of the City of London, and far beyond.  
      Annually attracting over 4 million visitors, the Western Fair District offers a diverse calendar of events, with ample free parking, including the Western Fair Farmers Market, The Sports Centre, Horse Racing, the London Wine & Food Show, the London Farm Show, National Poultry Show, the Western Fair, London Classic Yearling Sale, along with various other engaging events and activities throughout the year.

      Entertainment

      The Raceway at Western Fair District - The District has been officially hosting horse racing in London, Ontario for over 60 years! Featuring standardbred harness racing at its best - live on our half-mile track. Our Live Racing season runs 3 or 4 times per week from October through May, depending on the time of year. Enjoy dinner and the races at our beautifully appointed Top of the Fair Restaurant throughout the season. Get your tickets early for Camluck Classic, London’s biggest night of racing every year. Simulcast racing is available 7 days a week, year-round, in our lounge where horse races from across Canada and the US are broadcast simultaneously so you can bet on different tracks across North America.

      Sports & Recreation

      The Sports Centre at Western Fair District - The Sports Centre at Western Fair District is a multi-use ice-sport facility available in London. Amenities include 2 NHL Ice Surfaces, 1 Olympic Ice Surface, Dining options: Deke’s Bar & Grill and concession foods, 23 Dressing rooms; each with a washroom and showers, Office and Meeting Rooms / Banquet Rooms, Pro Shop/Retail Store/Skate Sharpening Operated by Herm’s Pro Shop and more. Deke’s Bar & Grill features charbroiled burgers and chicken sandwiches with our distinctive corn-dusted buns, bold-flavored sauces and dips, and sidekicks including seasoned fries. Contact our Food and Beverage Department for amazing Team Meal options prepared onsite with advance bookings. 

      Casual Dining 

      Top of the Fair Restaurant - Celebrate the wins, celebrate the special occasions, and celebrate great local cuisine. Located on the third floor of the Grandstand building in the Western Fair District is a memorable dining experience you and your guests will not soon forget. Dine while enjoying Live Horse Racing which runs 3 or 4 times per week from October through May, depending on the time of year. Enjoy dinner in our beautifully appointed Top of the Fair Restaurant, featuring floor-to-ceiling windows with an exhilarating panoramic view of horse-racing, paired with a menu featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients.       Events

      The London Wine and Food Show welcomes approximately 100 exhibitors each January, highlighting the best in beer, wine, spirits, and food sampling. Attendees are invited to come celebrate with their taste buds each January and savour the show’s featured cooking and tasting experiences which event fans have come to love.
