The Don Wright Faculty of Music at Western University invites you to experience Musicians from Marlboro.
The Musicians from Marlboro touring program artists (Sang Yoon Kim, clarinet; Maria Ioudenitch and Stephanie Zyzak, violin; Hiroki Kasai and Natalie Loughran, viola; Peter Stumpf, cello; Evren Ozel, piano) kick off their tour with this concert before heading to Carnegie Hall, Philadelphia, Washington, Rockport and Greenwich! The touring artists program was created as an extension of Vermont's Marlboro Music Festival which is noted for their joyous performances that offer valuable touring experience to artists at the beginning of their careers. Programmed works for the concert included pieces by Schumann, Kurtág and Brahms.
Supported by Renee Silberman and Ted Medzon of Serenata Music and Dr. Günes Ege, a long-time supporter of the Marlboro Festival
All are welcome to attend – No RSVP required. This is a free event and end times are approximate.
