7 PM: Hubert Orlowski is an influential pianist, keyboardist, and songwriter, He's best known as the frontman of the Fusion trio, Hubert and Smile and the instrumental funk band The New Cats.
With his new trio featuring Josh Presley on Bass and Elijah Ormerod on Drums, Hubert is showcasing a return to his acoustic roots by expanding the traditional expectations of a Jazz piano trio. Featuring originals which have been described as contemplative and boundary pushing, the trio brings a new, organic, and highly conversational approach to modern Jazz.
8 PM: Mark Swan's GOOD HANG is a jazzy, funky, live-band hip-hop group full of groovy jams and killer musicians. The group was founded by Mark Swan, a London-based musician, who wanted to assemble a group of all the amazing session players he has worked with over the years. The groups new and fresh approach to the jazz tradition while incorporating elements of hiphop, electronic instruments and a genre bending group of musicians, creates a show you will not want to miss!
The London Jazz Festival returns for its second year! The 2025 edition features 35 jazz groups, with 28 events at 9 different venues throughout the month of April. The month-long celebration during Jazz Appreciation Month promises an authentic experience for jazz lovers and curious listeners alike. From intimate clubs to larger stages, the festival provides a variety of settings for audiences to enjoy the music.
