At the age of five, this Canadian prodigy began his piano studies; by age eight, Kevin Chen had been named one of CBC’s Top 30 Hot Canadian Classical Musicians under 30 and became the youngest person to earn The Royal Conservatory of Music’s Associate Diploma.
Subsequent awards include youngest-ever winner of the Franz Liszt International Piano Competition; first prize at the Concours de Genève; and first prize in the Arthur Rubinstein Piano Master Competition. As well as being an exceptional musician, Chen is an accomplished composer and has over 100 works to his name.
