In celebration of International Women’s Day on March 8, join a tour that focuses on women’s health and wellness in the 19th and 20th centuries, covering topics on childbirth, medical care and medicines, sports and health, recipes, and the in-home physician, as well as Victorian etiquette, including the permanent effects of wearing a corset on women’s bodies.
- Group sizes are 12 people.
- Not suitable for children under 12.
- Light refreshments are provided in the Interpretive Centre.
- Please be aware that there are long periods of standing.
- Please be aware this tour goes to the second floor, attic, and basement of the museum via stairs.
