Antler River Poetry is thrilled to announce that their March reading will feature Ashley-Elizabeth Best and Sarah Yi-Mei Tsiang! They hope you’ll join them on Wednesday, March 19, from 7 PM - 8:30 PM at Landon Library in Wortley Village, for an incredible evening of poetry.
Ashley-Elizabeth Best is a disabled poet and essayist from Kingston. Her work can be found in the Capilano Review, New Welsh Review, CV2, Ambit Magazine, Mslexia, and Chatelaine. Her work was longlisted for the 2021 CBC Poetry Prize. Her second collection, Bad Weather Mammals, is now available from ECW Press. Find A-E on Instagram as @capitatelikeahead.
Sarah Yi-Mei Tsiang is the author of Grappling Hook, which was shortlisted for the Raymond Souster Award, Status Update, shortlisted for the Pat Lowther Award and the Gerald Lampert Award winning Sweet Devilry. She has been featured in Best of the Best Canadian Poetry and shortlisted for the CBC’s Poetry Prize. She is the Director of FutureVerse for Poetry In Voice and teaches Creative Writing at Queens University. Sarah is also the former editor of Arc Poetry Magazine and was the 2024 Toronto Public Library Writer-in-Residence.
