      Métis actor John D. Huston celebrates his 33rd anniversary of touring his solo version of A Christmas Carol, having performed it over 750 times across Canada since 1992, while also recently portraying Louis Riel in the 50th anniversary of The Trial of Louis Riel. Huston, known for his roles in various historical figures and for his work addressing Canada’s residential school system, received accolades for his engaging performances, including a Best Actor nomination from Ottawa's Capital Critics' Circle in 2017. Critics have praised his storytelling ability and the depth he brings to the characters he portrays.
